Bat Form
Description
Turn into a bat and fly high into the air allowing you to cross impassable terrain. Cannot be used while carrying resources, while indoors and requires a valid landing location when exiting the form. Beware of the sun!
Unlocking
Bat Form us unlocked via Nightmarshal Styx the Sunderer.
Usage
Bat Form is the preeminent travel ability, allowing players to move far faster across the map and without the difficulty of navigating terrain or mobs. Despite what the tooltip claims, Bat Form can indeed be used while carrying resources. Additionally, as implied in the tooltip there is no shade from which to shelter from the sun while in Bat Form. It is highly inadvisable to utilize the form during daylight hours.
Unlike other forms, Bat Form cannot be dismissed simply by opening the Vampire Powers radial. The only ways to remove Bat Form is the replacement Travel Ability, Land, or death.
