Mace

Maces are slower speed weapons that deal blunt damage damage and provide a 25% bonus against minerals & rocks. They are good for harvesting nodes and excel at controlling a fight, with the ability Crushing Blow acting as a good engagement tool, and Smack being a great for creating distance and relieving pressure.

All maces share these same attributes:

  • +25% Physical Damage to Minerals
  •  2.42s Attack Speed (per combo)
  • 50% / 50% / 60% combo
  • 66.12% DPS

Moveset

Crushing Blow

Ability Description Cast Time Cooldown
Crushing Blow.png Vault towards the cursor and slam your mace into the ground dealing 110% physical damage and inflicting a 2s fading snare. 0.7s 8s

Usage

Crushing blow has a lot of freedom in where the ability lands making it good at acting as both an engagement tool and a punish for those chasing you. The usually allows for a full combo of normal attacks that can be followed by Smack to regain space and set up for another Crushing Blow.

Smack

Smack.png Smack enemies in front of you dealing 50% physical damage, knocking them back and incapacitating them for 1.2s. 0.35s 9s

Usage

Smack is an excellent space maker being able to cleave away large swarms of enemies to get some breathing room. It can be used before Crushing Blow if the enemy is already beside you however works best as a disengagement or control tool. The incapacitate is also useful for disrupting long cast abilities like those of the Cleric and stopping them from buffing their allies.

Combined with range abilities like Chaos Volley and Sanguine Coil an ebb and flow can be created between combos that utilize the space created by Smack.
