Description

Summon a Spectral Assassin at target location that performs a heavy melee attack dealing 125% magic damage to nearby enemies, knocking them back and weakening them, reducing damage output by 30% for 5s. Lasts for up to 6s.

Unlocking

Spectral Assassin is unlocked by killing Leandra The Shadow Priestess.

Usage

Spectral Assassin comes with an area-of-effect indicator, despite not having an area-of-effect on cast. The heavy melee attack is identical to that of the greatsword weapon uses by some AI, and is both an area-of-effect and extremely potent knockback effect. The attack is telegraphed, and can be dodged easily as with the typical greatsword melee attack.

The Spectral Assassin will attack the nearest hostile target, and then despawn. If no hostile is within aggro range, it will loiter in the area and persist for nearly the full duration of the cooldown before despawning. It is possible to have two Spectral Assassin attacks in short succession by summoning the first ahead of the patrol route or expected movement direction.
